This nearly three-hour long adventure involves exploring the caves well beyond where usual tours go. Climb through tight tunnels and winding turns safely with this guided tour from True Adventure Sports. Tickets are $34.50 per person, and true adventurers agree the fee is worth every penny.

21st Annual Alabama Dance Festival

Nothing beats the winter blues like the Alabama Dance Festival in Birmingham. This unique and ultra-fun event is filled with affordable (and sometimes free) dance classes, showcases and performances at numerous locations throughout the city from Jan. 12 to Jan. 21. Country music is a part of every visit to Alabama, and there’s no better place to get your country music fix than at Always Patsy Cline the musical. This award-winning show will take viewers on a roller coaster ride of music and memories from the life of one of country music’s favorite females. The show will take place numerous nights between Jan. 13 and Feb. 8, 2018, at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery.
